The smell of baking on cold wintry days especially at around Christmas time gave a homey feeling. As I look at these cookie cutters I am reminded of when I was young but old enough to help, Mom let me help ice the cookies and decorate them. Little bowls of icing for the shortbread cookies. One bowl with white icing, another with green, yet another with yellow and any other colour that was needed to make the cookie pretty!
